Ferry customers

There are two ferry voyages a day to Hokkaido's Tomakomai and Oarai Port.

* From Oarai Ferry Terminal to Oarai Station, it takes about 15 minutes on the Kaiyugo loop bus(Japanese) or 20 minutes on foot.

By Bus

About 40 minutes to Mito Station (highway route), about 1 hour 10 minutes (general route)

From Mito Station, please use Kashima Rinkai Railway Oarai Kashima Line or Ibaraki Kotsu Bus.

By Car

Customers using Oarai Loop Bus

Loop bus "Kaiyu-Go", Jinguri bus "Nacchan-Go" route and schedule

“Kaiyu-Go” loop bus

Familiar to tourists and people visiting Oarai, the loop bus “Kaiyu- Go” runs on the “Aqua World Oarai Route”, “Oarai Sun Beach Route” and the “Oarai South (Minami) Route” when operating.

* School bus, Bus 2, Bus 4 (Aquaworld Oarai Route), school attendance bus 2 and returning school bus (Oarai South Route)  is not in service on holiday weekends, during the Obon period (August 13-15) or during the New Year's holiday (December 29 to January 3)

* Busses 2 and 4 (Aqua World Oarai Route) run counterclockwise.

* School attendance bus 1 (Oarai Minami Route) operates only on days when Oarai Minami Elementary School is in-session.

Ticket (single): 100 yen for adults, 50 yen for children

1-day ticket (hop-on hop-off): 200 yen for adults, 100 yen for children

* One-day hop-on hop-off tickets are limited to the “Kai-yu-go”.

* If needed, please purchase a ticket book (1,000 yen per book, 50 yen x 22 tickets) and a 1-day hop-on hop-off ticket from the driver, or at the Ibaraki Kotsu Nakaminato Sales Office.

Jinguri Bus "Natchan-Go"

In addition to the “Kaiyu-Go” route, the bus “Nacchan-Go” runs in the direction of Natsumi, Matsukawa and Kamiyama.

* Nacchan-Go is only available on weekdays.
It does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, during the Obon period (August 13th to 15th) or during the New Year holidays (from December 29th to January 3rd).

* A one-day hop-on hop-off ticket for the loop bus "Kaiyu-Go " cannot be used.
